This project idea came from the lack of G Wagons, which I see with mud on their tires. When I visit campsites in the summer or ski resorts in the winter I see all these pickup trucks, RV's and SUVs but never anything expensive. I love the styling of the G Wagon, it's quite boxy and unique. It was originally made for the military and since becoming available to the public in 1979 has become a luxury SUV with very good offroad capabilities that not many in Vancouver use. I modeled, laid out and lit in Maya, textured in substance painter, rendered in Redshift and Composited in Nuke.
After doing an anatomy sculpt as an assignment for term 4's Digital Sculpting class at Vancouver Film School. I am revisiting this project and working on completing the character by sculpting the head, sculpting shoes and sculpting and adding further detail to the clothes. This project's motivation comes from the first, first-person shooter I played, VALORANT. Jett is one of the original 10 characters in the game. Jett is believed to be 20-25 year old from South Korea. I have sculpted Jett in Zbrush and done the retopology process in Maya. I will texture in Substance Painter and render in Redshift.
This was a project for term 1 of Vancouver Film School. During this project, I learned how to light and render in Redshift.
Ajax was an individual project for term 2's modeling class at Vancouver Film School. During this project, I learned topology for deformation and Adobe Substance Painter.
